Dinoworld Raptor 243 eBook Keith Olsen Reviews
I've always loved dinosaur stories, especially unique ones, which in all honesty are harder to find these days. This was one of the best ones I've seen as of late. While the book is indeed short, it had a lot of meat to it. This book isn't about animals attacking humans or each other, this is a story of a conflict between two dinosaurs driven by tortured pasts, with one finding a way to rise above it.
I guess this is what really grabbed me about this book. It's too easy to dismiss animals as creatures that just react to their environment like mindless robots. Any pet owner will tell you that animals can feel and think. This story shows this.
In regards to the action, very fast paced, very suspenseful. I was truly on the edge of my seat through most of it. Of course, the fact I liked the characters (particularly the dinosaurs, who as I mentioned earlier, were real people in this book) only heightened the suspense because I was truly concerned for them.
Finding a combination of real depth and strong action is very rare and I'm recommending this book to my friends.
